Dr. Clemens Wallner is President of EcoAustria, after having been Vice President since its founding. Previously, Wallner was active in Banking, Industry, and the EU-coordination of the Austrian Government. Between 2002 and 2007, he was economic policy advisor to Austrian Chancellor Dr. Wolfgang Schüssel, before being the economic policy coordinator of the Federation of Austrian Industries between 2007 and 2021. Moreover, Wallner co-founded and co-led the Behavioral Economics Research Group at the Institute for Advanced Studies from 2017 to 2021.
