Panel discussion -European competitiveness
On February 17, 2025, a top-class panel discussion on the subject of “European competitiveness” took place at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. The event was jointly organized by &'EcoAustria, the Department of Economics WU (University of Economics Vienna) and the Uniwersytet Warszawski / University of Warsaw organized and brought together experts from science, politics and business.
The podium participants highlighted current economic policy developments and gave impetus to how Europe can strengthen its position in international competition. The need for closer cooperation within the EU in order to position itself more independently of the USA was particularly emphasized, to stabilize the financial situation and to find common ways to recover economically. Poland in particular was highlighted as a pioneer for a forward-looking economic policy.
The event met with great interest: numerous students, scientists and representatives from business and politics took the opportunity to exchange views on the current challenges and opportunities for the European business location.
