"We are getting older" - this was the motto of the 59th Congress for Hospital Management, which took place in Villach from May 9-14, 2016. In his presentation, Ulrich Schuh, Head of Research, addressed the topic of increasing life expectancy and the associated longer retirement benefits. The challenges facing the healthcare system, pensions and the role of insurance companies in particular were then discussed in detail in a panel discussion.
