"Austria 2040: Will our children be better off?" was the title of the 31st International Summer Talks of the Waldviertel Academy, which took place in Gmünd (Lower Austria) from September 3 to 6, 2015. The question of the future and its potential impact on the lives of individuals and on the coexistence of all people was addressed in various lectures and discussions. Chief Research Officer Ulrich Schuh, together with Johann Marihart (AGRANA Beteiligungs-AG) and Klaus Woltron (Minas Beteiligungs- und UnternehmensgmbH), discussed the issue of "The economy in 2040 - where is the world heading?".
