The Weis[s]en Wirtschaft tax concept provides for a significant reduction in wage and income tax, an increase in transfer payments and a family package. These measures are to be financed in a revenue-neutral manner via an increase in value-added tax and property tax as well as a reduction in tax exemptions.
EcoAustria evaluated the economic effects of this concept using the dynamic macro model PuMA.
