Felbermayr new Chairman of the EcoAustria Advisory Board

Gabriel Felbermayr is the new Chairman of EcoAustria's Advisory Board. With the President of the Kiel Institute for the World Economy (IfW), one of the largest economic research institutes in Germany, EcoAustria is further expanding its scientific expertise and network in the field of foreign trade. "Trade wars and increasing protectionism have risen sharply in recent years. This has noticeably slowed down global economic growth. Austria and Germany are also affected by this," says Tobias Thomas, Director of the economic research institute EcoAustria. According to the economist ranking of Die Presse and the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Felbermayr is one of the ten most influential economists in Germany and Austria. The EcoAustria Advisory Board is an independent body of personalities that advises the Institute on scientific and economic policy issues.
