Josef Moser becomes new President of EcoAustria

EcoAustria - Institute for Economic Research is pleased to announce that Dr. Josef Moser will take over as President of the research institute from Dr. Gabriele Zuna-Kratky, who will remain with the institute as a member of the Board of Directors. With the appointment of the former President of the Austrian Court of Audit as the new Chairman, the Institute gains additional expertise and management competence. "We are delighted to have gained such an experienced and knowledgeable expert on the economic and political structures of our country, who recognizes Austria's potential and knows how to assess it independently and competently," explains Dr. Clemens Wallner, Vice-President of the Institute.

Dr. Josef Moser, whose ACA presidency ended in June 2016 after twelve successful years, is looking forward to his new role as Chairman of the Institute. "We will continue to promote EcoAustria's excellent reputation as an independent research institute with outstanding expertise and support economic policy makers with evidence-based research," says Moser.

EcoAustria has been asserting itself as an economic research institute in the domestic scientific landscape for almost five years. With generally understandable and application-oriented studies, it makes high-quality and scientifically recognized contributions to the current economic policy debate in Austria and abroad.
