Country benchmarking

In the context of efficiency and impact analyzes, EcoAustria compares public expenditures as input sizes (e.g. in the areas of education, health, care and administration) performance indicators as output sizes. Structural differences (e.g. the migration share or demographic differences) can be checked statistically. In a comparison between states or federal states, efficiency potentials can be determined with the respective benchmark value, such as the most favorable input–output ratio.
