Office opening EcoAustria

In his speech, the President of the Federation of Austrian Industries, Veit Sorger, emphasized the need for an additional, independent economic research institute in Austria and his positive and tense expectations regarding the activities of the newly founded research institute.

In her welcoming address, the President of EcoAustria, Gabriele Zuna-Kratky, also emphasized the new impetus that EcoAustria will provide and did not fail to mention the focus on the applicability of the research results for politics and business. Ms. Zuna-Kratky concluded her speech by introducing the EcoAustria Board of Directors, which is made up of experienced experts from industry and research.

Ulrich Schuh, Director of Research and Scientific Director, emphasized the Institute's position as a link between scientific research and economic policy before concluding by introducing his staff.

During the subsequent tour of the offices with the EcoAustria team, there were many stimulating conversations, which can certainly be followed up on future occasions.
