Presentation of the call for pension reform

Prof. Robert Holzmann (economist and former Director of Labour and Social Affairs at the World Bank), Prof. Bernd Marin (Managing Director of the European Centre for Welfare Policy), Prof. Christian Keuschnigg (Director of the Institute for Advanced Studies) and EcoAustria Research Director Dr. Ulrich Schuh have formulated an urgent appeal for sustainable pension reform in Austria, which has been signed by a large number of internationally renowned economists and relevant experts in Austrian economic policy.

At a press conference on September 24, 2012, Prof. Holzmann, Prof. Marin and Dr. Schuh explained the key points of the appeal and presented the current list of supporters. At the subsequent event, experts discussed the topic of non-financial defined contribution schemes.
