Research Paper 6: EcoAustria auf dem dritten Economics of Media Bias Workshop

The third Economics of Media Bias Workshop will take place this year from February 15 to 16, 2018 at the University of Cologne. EcoAustria Director Tobias Thomas will present new research findings on the role of the media in democracy. At the conference, Ruben Durante, Sciences Po and Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Spain), James M. Snyder, Harvard University (USA) and Maiting Zhuang, Paris School of Economics (France), among others, will also present further research contributions on media reporting in a political and economic context.
The international research network Economics of Media Bias Network, funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), brings together economists worldwide who are researching the influence of media coverage in an economic and political context.
