Research Paper 7: Can Media Drive the Electorate

The annual conference of the European Public Choice Society will take place in Rome this year from April 11 to 16, 2018. EcoAustria Director Tobias Thomas and co-authors will present new research findings on the role of the media in democracies and central bank communication. Speakers at the conference will include Milan economics professor Tito Boeri on the challenges facing the welfare state in times of migration and ifo President Clemens Fuest on ways to improve the regulatory framework in the eurozone. The European Public Choice Society is one of the most important academic associations in the field of New Political Economy worldwide. This year's annual conference will take place at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome.
