The two-year foreign trade curriculum was carried out for the second time in 2021/2022 by the Federal Ministry of Labor and Economic Affairs (BMAW) together with the Competence Center Research Focus International Business (FIW) and the Federal Academy of Administration (VAB).
On September 29, 2022, Priv.-Doz. Dr. Monika Köppl-Turyna spoke about the social aspects of international trade in a webinar.
Köppl-Turyna explained the connection between international trade liberalization and democracy as well as the effects of trade liberalization on employment and income distribution. She also spoke about the political economy of populism and contrasted free trade with protectionism.
