Studie: Updating of the Labour Market Model

In autumn 2015, following a competitive process, the European Commission commissioned EcoAustria to update the labor market model co-developed by the authors.

The model was created to provide the European Commission with a better insight into the mechanisms of action of the labor market policies agreed in the framework of the European Employment Strategy. The labor market model provides the theoretical and empirical basis for this. Based on current economic data, the reactions of the economy to changes in labor market policy and other areas of economic policy are estimated.
