Linda Dezső’s, Ph.D research interests lie at the intersection of psychology and economics. She holds BSc and MSc degrees in Psychology from Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, with a specialization in experimental psychology, judgment, and decision-making. After gaining experience in consulting, she pursued a PhD in behavioral economics to deepen her focus on human decision-making. She completed her coursework at the University of Szeged, Department of Economics, and was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to conduct her dissertation research at Carnegie Mellon University under the supervision of Professor George Loewenstein. Upon returning from the USA, she successfully defended her PhD at the University of Vienna, Department of Psychology.

Between 2012 and 2022, Dezső worked at the University of Vienna, where she conducted research and taught courses on Economic Psychology, Principles of Behavioral Economics, and Empirical Research Methods. Her primary research areas revolve around the impact of prior outcomes on distributive preferences, bargaining behavior, and perceptions of fairness. She has also been delving into behaviorally informed health economics and oversees projects at EcoAustria that utilize behavioral economics to explain and forecast behavior.

Currently, Dezső is serving as a postdoctoral researcher at the Danube University of Krems, Department of Economy and Health, where she continues her research endeavors.
